You really can build the training you need with us. Create a weekly timetable so you are acting, singing, dancing to the degree you want. Be in shows, prepare for the Industry, work one to one or in groups. Whether it’s plays or musicals, street dance or jazz, monologues or songs. We got you.We have bursaries available, and a brand new scholarship prize as well as multi class discounts. A Cardiff based, not-for-profit organisation bringing performing arts education to young people. Explore all aspects from production to triple threat performing, to acting and theatre making. Get inspired in our very own theatre space designed for youth productions, and fully equipped dance studio!

Recently:

Young people learn skills with us that will help them achieve in all aspects of their life; confidence, self awareness, body awareness, public speaking, creative thinking, and presentation skills.

In December we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary with a Gala Awards night at the Dora Stoutzker concert hall at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

We have two venues: The Talent Shack and The Shack Studio, home to our Dance classes.

We teach all aspects of the performing arts including technical theatre arts. We run volunteer programmes and have scholarships and bursaries available that low income, local families can access easily.

The Talent Shack CIC (Community Interest Company) is a not for profit organisation providing opportunities for young people within the community to connect with the performing arts.

Our aims are:

To bring quality, structured performing arts classes and strong production values to local young people in an inclusive way

To widen the accessibility and experience of the Arts through performance and play

To provide a valuable creative learning space for the community within a social and inclusive environment, in person and online.

To target services to deprived communities within Cardiff and South Wales and communities who don’t find it easy to access quality drama and dance provision – such as children from low income families
